Some major development and beautification work has been carried out since its acquisition in March 2004, creating one of the finest estates on the Côte d’Azur.

The fitting out of the villas, initially planned for students, did not suit facilities to be used as a hotel residence and for events. The majority of the houses have been freshened up and modified to accommodate vacationers during the 2004 summer season.

Starting in mid-October 2004, substantial renovation work was undertaken on the estate, for structural improvements (purification station, road, lighting, tennis court, swimming pool) and in the interest of aesthetic improvements (interior fittings, creation of spaces.)

The major work was completed by mid-June 2005 so as to undertake the first season of events. Since then the owners have worked on the details, while carrying on their events activity. These improvements have created flexibility in the use of the estate.

The property comprises:

– 4,651m2 of construction with a total of 92 bedrooms and 45 bathrooms, making 184 beds

The owners have revamped the estate’s entire sanitation network with the installation of a
purification station treating all waste water. Once the water has been treated and purified, it
is routed to retention basins in the form of fountains. In this way all waste water is reused for sprinkling the park and for the estate aesthetics.

The “maison de maître” (main building) has been entirely renovated in a style combining
classicism and modernity to transform it into a prestigious and functional reception area. That renovation was also carried out with a view to the possibility that the building might become a residence. Using noble materials (marble, Versailles parquet flooring, staff, cornice…), it benefits from some fine features (reversible air conditioning, built-in loud speakers, volumetric alarms, fire alarms, 5 plasma screens…). It is very light and opens up entirely onto a 900m2 terrace overlooking the entire Côte d’Azur and the Alps.

It is divided up as follows:
Level N-1: Service space: Cloakroom, 2 shower rooms, kitchen, dining room, wine cellar,
positive/negative cold room and technical premises.
Level N: 1 reception room with a capacity of 80 and a lounge space (wine-bar), 2 professional
kitchens, one cloakroom, 3 WC, storage spaces.
Level N+1: 1 modulable reception room with a capacity of 170 people, a genuine pantry from
the beginning of the century, one shower room and 3 WC, sound and light equipment

Not far from the château, is a house blending into its setting that can be used as additional
reception space. It is ideal for cocktail parties and is fully equipped (bar, refrigerator, woodburning oven, etc…), offering an unobstructed view over Saint Jean Cap Ferrat.

The château’s outbuildings have been completely redeveloped. At
the start they offered only dilapidated rooms that had been used as a
dormitory, but the owners have turned them into the following:

– La volière: The cocktail area
– La bergerie: 1 studio apartment
– L’oisellerie: 4 studio apartments
– Le poulailler: 1 sports room
– La sergenterie Haut: 1 2-room flat + 2 25m2 offices
